Dr. Roy A. Teel Jr. is a biblical scholar whose desire is to assist in bringing about a new revival in Christianity: a revival rooted in logic, with a rational view of the Bible as a book written by humans for humans with the hope of understanding an abstract “God.” Through intellect and understanding rather than mythology and misguided rhetoric, Dr. Teel teaches and speaks to audiences the world over through his writing to wake sleeping minds to new ideas and concepts, and to encourage every believer to test what they believe and challenge what they don’t. Dr. Teel holds doctorates of both Divinity and Biblical Studies, is the author of several scholarly books and papers, and lives with his wife in California.
